When you live near water, at the foot of a hill, or in any area where vegetation is sparse, heavy rainfall can be a real nuisance. Dirt and silt can accumulate on your driveways and porches, and if you have an unprotected shoreline, you run the risk of watching your property get literally washed away.
The good news is that controlling erosion is actually more affordable than you think, and it’s often a one-time expense. Our team at AA Quarry, LLC is the mid-south’s top rock supplier, and we can fill rock orders of any size so that you can create attractive natural earthworks that will minimize the damaging effects of heavy rainfall. Each year, We produce and sell over two million tons of construction aggregates out of our Arkansas rock quarry, and no order is too large or too small. Here is a look at our most popular rock products:
Fill Gravel-Our most popular grades of fill gravel are 57 & 67 stone, which is perfect for French drains and dirt driveways. 57 gravel is made of stones that are approximately ¾” to 1” in size, and 67 gravel is approximately one-half inch. We can also custom grind gravel in any grade that you need.
Rip Rap-Rip rap stones are generally about 10-18” in size, and are great for stabilizing a hillside or a shoreline. Rip rap is also available in smaller grades if you’re looking to create a rustic driveway or retaining wall.
Armor Stone-If you want to add a real touch of class to your property, we can also produce Armor stone to order. Armor stone refers to large, custom cut boulders that serve a variety of purposes. In addition to controlling erosion, they are an attractive and dramatic way to protect a shoreline. They are also ideal to create sidewalks, walls, and water features that will blend in seamlessly with their surroundings, and look like they have always been there.
